Football for the World Development

My son has been part of the FFTW family for more than 5 years. There is a reason why we have stayed with FFTW for so long. Many other academies and coaches don't have the kid's interest at the front of what they do. I can say that FFTW always puts the child first, no matter what, and that is for me invaluable. Add to that the great coaching, the unpolitical way Ali runs his academy, the truly good hearted people around him, and you have a safe, fun, challenging academy any kid will be lucky enough to call their team.

Over the past few years playing at the academy level for FFTW, our son has developed and matured, not just as a football player but also as an individual. During Covid, FFTW has always found a way to continue training. Small group training, one on one sessions, YouTube tutorials, and ZOOM training, all helped to maintain the level of skill and fitness needed to play at this level. Mocha, Ali and the rest of the coaches are fantastic with all the players and have the patience and skill to bring out the best in their game. Communication with parents, level of professionalism and access to programs year round are fantastic. Highly recommended.

My son Liam has played and trained with Ali and FFTW since he was six years old. He has learned so much and enjoyed his training. The coaches have always been great with the kids creating a great bond for the teammates.

Our daughter has been doing 1:1 and small group training with Mocha from FFTW for a year. After extensively searching the region for quality, high performance training, we were happy to find Mocha. Mocha takes the time to learn each player’s strengths and areas where they can improve, and tailors each session to address those needs in a high energy, fun, and constructive way. Our daughter always leaves each session more confident and with skills she is able to apply to her game. We regularly recommended Mocha to other soccer families and will rely on Mocha for extra training in the future.

I have had the pleasure of coaching with FFTW Development since inception through both indoor and outdoor programs. It has been a great journey for me in both developing our outstanding group of players and my personal professional development as a coach using Head Coach Ali as my mentor. The level of players is competitive at all age groups and we have also worked on developing young players with little to no experience, especially by focusing on the U8 development group. I love FFTW because it is about more than just a game, it is where players can make friends, become leaders on and off the pitch, learn and practice essentials of the game and become professional players. Players and Parents are also respectful and supportive of the coaches, which makes our jobs a lot easier. I would recommend FFTW to any new or existing players looking to improve their skills and knowledge through the beautiful game.

Our son has been a part of the FFTW family for 3 years now and we would highly recommend them! We have seen continual growth in our son’s overall confidence, and technical ability. Beyond all of that, the work the academy does to build strong character on and off the pitch is what takes it next level. They build a true sense of respect between player and coaches, while keeping it fun and encouraging each player to develop to their full potential.

Our son was with FFTW academy team for two years and he enjoyed his time there. We really liked a systematic development work and practices by their coach Julie. The players loved additional gym classes. FFTW managed to get over all challenges related to ridiculous covid restrictions.

I was a big soccer fan who wanted to develop on coaching and then I found FFTW their goal is creating the best possible version of our players and also coaches. Our coaches are very professional they always want the best for players they are very nice with kids and unlike the other places they know the ball. My experience so far is amazing. Highly recommended.

My son has mainly played with Kitchener Soccer Club teams until the summer of 2022, when we came across FFTW's summer camp program. My son had such an amazing experience at the FFTW camp, led by Coach Mocha, that he asked to tryout for the FFTW academy. We were so impressed with what we experienced at the tryouts, that joining FFTW academy was an easy decision! Since then, we continue to be impressed with the outstanding tactical knowledge of the Coaches, along with their positive attitudes, which keeps the kids loving the sport. In my opinion, Coach Ali, who is head coach for FFTW, is one of the best, if not the best coaches in the region. He understands his players and the instruction they need to develop into better players, while having each player's best interests at heart, on and off the field. Finally, Coach Ali develops new, aspiring coaches, who he has previously coached in his academy teams. We are really happy with the coaching team (Coach Ali, Coach Paige and Coach Marko) who are invested in our son and his team. We truly believe that if you are looking for a great soccer club for your child, FFTW is the way to go!
